The Knolls, Murrieta

The Knolls, also known as Murrieta Hot Springs, is a genuinely large 55+ community made up of three connected neighborhoods: Spring Knolls, Golf Knolls, and Warm Spring Knolls. It’s a manufactured-home community where residents own the land under their home rather than leasing it, a real distinction from a typical mobile home park, and it carries lower HOA fees as a result. Homes here were built across a long stretch, from 1971 through 2017, and each section has its own clubhouse, with residents free to use all of them. Amenities across the community include pools, a billiards room, an exercise gym, and a dog run.

The three sections

Golf Knolls is the largest, with 520 homeowner lots on Camino Alba. Spring Knolls has 380 lots off Via Princesa, and Warm Spring Knolls has 216 lots on Via Del Largo, for about 1,100 homes in all. Each section has its own homeowners association and clubhouse.
