Winchester is an unincorporated community between Murrieta, Menifee and Hemet, sharing ZIP code 92596 with the newer French Valley area: the two are effectively one housing market. It’s an area defined by heavy recent construction, with builders active across several large communities.

Because so much of the stock is new, inventory is dominated by four- and five-bedroom two-story homes in the $600K–$800K range, on similar lot sizes with similar finishes. Older or smaller homes are rare here.
